ਮਿਸਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।”

ਬੇਬੀਲੋਨ, ਤੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੈਂ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 46:11
“ਮਿਸਰ, ਗਿਲਆਦ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਦਵਾ-ਦਾਰੂ ਲਿਆ। ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਵਾ-ਦਾਰੂ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ। ਤੇਰਾ ਇਲਾਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 46:19
ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਲਵੋ। ਬੰਦੀਵਾਨ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਨੋਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੱਖਣਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਓੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
