Jeremiah 44:27
ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਾਂ। ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਉਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਮਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਖਤਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ।

ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਿਚਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਲਾਹ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।” ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੀ।

ਉੱਥੋਂ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਭੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਬਚੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਣਗੇ!

ਅੱਜ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਤੂੰ ਉਖਾੜ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਢਾਹ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਉਸਾਰੇਁਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਗਾਵੇਂਗਾ।”
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 21:10
ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਲਈ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।’” ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ “‘ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।’
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 44:12
ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬੋੜੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੀ ਬਚੇ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋੜੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਜਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਕਤਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਾਂ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੰਦਾ ਬੋਲਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ, ਹੋਰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲੋ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਸਰਾਪ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਹੋਰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਕਰਨਗੀਆਂ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 44:18
ਪਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਣ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣੀ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਿਰ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ। ਸਾਡੇ ਲੋਕ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਮਰੇ ਹਨ।”
