ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਓਹ ਗੱਲ ਪੁੱਛੀ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ:

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਓਹ ਗੱਲ ਪੁੱਛੀ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ:
