וַיִּשָּׁבַ֞ע sware va-yee-sha-VA הַמֶּ֧לֶךְ the ha-MEH-lek צִדְקִיָּ֛הוּ king tseed-kee-YA-hoo אֶֽל So el יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ Zedekiah yeer-meh-YA-hoo בַּסֵּ֣תֶר unto ba-SAY-ter לֵאמֹ֑ר Jeremiah, lay-MORE חַי secretly hai יְהוָ֞ה saying, yeh-VA אֶת liveth, et אֲשֶׁר֩ Lord uh-SHER עָשָׂה the ah-SA לָ֨נוּ LA-noo אֶת that et הַנֶּ֤פֶשׁ made ha-NEH-fesh הַזֹּאת֙ us ha-ZOTE אִם eem אֲמִיתֶ֔ךָ soul, uh-mee-TEH-ha וְאִם this veh-EEM אֶתֶּנְךָ֗ not eh-ten-HA בְּיַד֙ will beh-YAHD הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים I ha-uh-na-SHEEM הָאֵ֔לֶּה put ha-A-leh אֲשֶׁ֥ר thee uh-SHER מְבַקְשִׁ֖ים to meh-vahk-SHEEM אֶת death, et נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃ neither nahf-SHEH-ha
