Jeremiah 28:2
“ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਜੂਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਤੈਨਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਦੀਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਸਾਰੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੜਾਈ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ!
ਮੀਕਾਹ 3:11
ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਵਾਢੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਨਿਆਉ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਪੈਸੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਬੀ ਪੈਸੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇੱਥੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਗ ਸੰਗ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਮਾੜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ।”
