Jeremiah 27:10
ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵਤਨੋ ਦੂਰ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਣਨਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਾਏ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਕੇ ਮਰੋਗੇ।

“ਇੱਥੇ ਕੁਝ ਨਬੀ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੂਠ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਆਖਦੇ ਨੇ, ‘ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ!’ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਿਆਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 27:14
ਪਰ ਝੂਠੇ ਨਬੀ ਆਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ: ‘ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ।’ “ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਝੂਠ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 28:16
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ, ਹਨਨਯਾਹ। ਤੂੰ ਇਸੇ ਸਾਲ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ।’”

ਤੇਰੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵੇਖੇ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਝੂਠ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਸੰਦੇਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਝੂਠੇ, ਅਤੇ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਸਨ।

ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਬੀ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਖੁਦ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਰਤਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
