ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 25:7
“ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣੀ”-ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ-“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ।”

| anger to me provoke might ye | הַכְעִסוֵ֛נִי | hakʿiswēnî | hahk-ees-VAY-nee |
| with the works | בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה | bĕmaʿăśē | beh-ma-uh-SAY |
| hands your of | יְדֵיכֶ֖ם | yĕdêkem | yeh-day-HEM |
| to your own hurt. | לְרַ֥ע | lĕraʿ | leh-RA |
| לָכֶֽם׃ | lākem | la-HEM |
