ਯਸਈਆਹ 63:5
ਮੈਂ ਚਾਰ-ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ, ਪਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਸਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਸਾਂ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਰਤੀ। ਮੇਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੋਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਸਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

| that there was none | וְאֵ֣ין | wĕʾên | veh-ANE |
| uphold: to | סוֹמֵ֑ךְ | sômēk | soh-MAKE |
| therefore mine own arm | וַתּ֤וֹשַֽׁע | wattôšaʿ | VA-toh-sha |
| brought salvation | לִי֙ | liy | lee |
| fury, my and me; unto | זְרֹעִ֔י | zĕrōʿî | zeh-roh-EE |
| it | וַחֲמָתִ֖י | waḥămātî | va-huh-ma-TEE |
| upheld | הִ֥יא | hîʾ | hee |
| me. | סְמָכָֽתְנִי׃ | sĕmākātĕnî | seh-ma-HA-teh-nee |
