Hebrews 11:20
ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਏਸਾਉ ਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਸੀ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਮਿਆ। ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੇ ਏਸਾਓ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਸੁੰਘੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਇੱਕ ਖੇਤ ਵਾਂਗ ਸੁਗੰਧਿਤ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਥਾਂ ਛੱਡਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਦਨ ਅਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਜਾਹ। ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਨੇ ਬਥੂਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਜਾਹ। ਉੱਥੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਾਮਾ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਇੱਕ ਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਲੈ।
