הַמַּשָּׂא֙ burden ha-ma-SA אֲשֶׁ֣ר which uh-SHER חָזָ֔ה Habakkuk ha-ZA חֲבַקּ֖וּק the huh-VA-kook הַנָּבִֽיא׃ prophet ha-na-VEE -
עַד Lord, ad אָ֧נָה how AH-na יְהוָ֛ה long yeh-VA שִׁוַּ֖עְתִּי shee-WA-tee וְלֹ֣א shall veh-LOH תִשְׁמָ֑ע I teesh-MA אֶזְעַ֥ק cry, ez-AK אֵלֶ֛יךָ and ay-LAY-ha חָמָ֖ס thou ha-MAHS וְלֹ֥א wilt veh-LOH תוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃ not toh-SHEE-ah -
לָ֣מָּה dost LA-ma תַרְאֵ֤נִי thou tahr-A-nee אָ֙וֶן֙ shew AH-VEN וְעָמָ֣ל me veh-ah-MAHL תַּבִּ֔יט iniquity, ta-BEET וְשֹׁ֥ד and veh-SHODE וְחָמָ֖ס cause veh-ha-MAHS לְנֶגְדִּ֑י me leh-neɡ-DEE וַיְהִ֧י to vai-HEE רִ֦יב behold reev וּמָד֖וֹן grievance? oo-ma-DONE יִשָּֽׂא׃ for yee-SA -
עַל al כֵּן֙ the kane תָּפ֣וּג law ta-FOOɡ תּוֹרָ֔ה is toh-RA וְלֹֽא slacked, veh-LOH יֵצֵ֥א and yay-TSAY לָנֶ֖צַח judgment la-NEH-tsahk מִשְׁפָּ֑ט doth meesh-PAHT כִּ֤י never kee רָשָׁע֙ ra-SHA מַכְתִּ֣יר go mahk-TEER אֶת forth: et הַצַּדִּ֔יק for ha-tsa-DEEK עַל the al כֵּ֛ן wicked kane יֵצֵ֥א doth yay-TSAY מִשְׁפָּ֖ט compass meesh-PAHT מְעֻקָּֽל׃ about meh-oo-KAHL -
רְא֤וּ ye reh-OO בַגּוֹיִם֙ among va-ɡoh-YEEM וְֽהַבִּ֔יטוּ the veh-ha-BEE-too וְהִֽתַּמְּה֖וּ heathen, veh-hee-ta-meh-HOO תְּמָ֑הוּ and teh-MA-hoo כִּי regard, kee פֹ֙עַל֙ and FOH-AL פֹּעֵ֣ל wonder poh-ALE בִּֽימֵיכֶ֔ם marvellously: bee-may-HEM לֹ֥א for loh תַאֲמִ֖ינוּ I ta-uh-MEE-noo כִּ֥י will kee יְסֻפָּֽר׃ work yeh-soo-PAHR -
כִּֽי lo, kee הִנְנִ֤י I heen-NEE מֵקִים֙ raise may-KEEM אֶת up et הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים ha-kahs-DEEM הַגּ֖וֹי the HA-ɡoy הַמַּ֣ר Chaldeans, ha-MAHR וְהַנִּמְהָ֑ר that veh-ha-neem-HAHR הַֽהוֹלֵךְ֙ bitter HA-hoh-lake לְמֶרְחֲבֵי and leh-mer-huh-VAY אֶ֔רֶץ hasty EH-rets לָרֶ֖שֶׁת nation, la-REH-shet מִשְׁכָּנ֥וֹת which meesh-ka-NOTE לֹּא shall loh לֽוֹ׃ march loh -
אָיֹ֥ם are ah-YOME וְנוֹרָ֖א terrible veh-noh-RA ה֑וּא and hoo מִמֶּ֕נּוּ dreadful: mee-MEH-noo מִשְׁפָּט֥וֹ their meesh-pa-TOH וּשְׂאֵת֖וֹ judgment oo-seh-ay-TOH יֵצֵֽא׃ and yay-TSAY -
וְקַלּ֨וּ horses veh-KA-loo מִנְּמֵרִ֜ים also mee-neh-may-REEM סוּסָ֗יו are soo-SAV וְחַדּוּ֙ swifter veh-ha-DOO מִזְּאֵ֣בֵי than mee-zeh-A-vay עֶ֔רֶב the EH-rev וּפָ֖שׁוּ leopards, oo-FA-shoo פָּֽרָשָׁ֑יו and pa-ra-SHAV וּפָֽרָשָׁיו֙ are oo-FA-ra-shav מֵרָח֣וֹק more may-ra-HOKE יָבֹ֔אוּ fierce ya-VOH-oo יָעֻ֕פוּ than ya-OO-foo כְּנֶ֖שֶׁר the keh-NEH-sher חָ֥שׁ evening hahsh לֶאֱכֽוֹל׃ wolves: leh-ay-HOLE -
כֻּלֹּה֙ shall koo-LOH לְחָמָ֣ס come leh-ha-MAHS יָב֔וֹא all ya-VOH מְגַמַּ֥ת for meh-ɡa-MAHT פְּנֵיהֶ֖ם violence: peh-nay-HEM קָדִ֑ימָה their ka-DEE-ma וַיֶּאֱסֹ֥ף faces va-yeh-ay-SOFE כַּח֖וֹל shall ka-HOLE שֶֽׁבִי׃ sup SHEH-vee -
וְהוּא֙ they veh-HOO בַּמְּלָכִ֣ים shall ba-meh-la-HEEM יִתְקַלָּ֔ס scoff yeet-ka-LAHS וְרֹזְנִ֖ים at veh-roh-zeh-NEEM מִשְׂחָ֣ק the mees-HAHK ל֑וֹ kings, loh ה֚וּא and hoo לְכָל the leh-HAHL מִבְצָ֣ר princes meev-TSAHR יִשְׂחָ֔ק shall yees-HAHK וַיִּצְבֹּ֥ר be va-yeets-BORE עָפָ֖ר a ah-FAHR וַֽיִּלְכְּדָֽהּ׃ scorn VA-yeel-keh-DA -
אָ֣ז shall az חָלַ֥ף his ha-LAHF ר֛וּחַ mind ROO-ak וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֖ר change, va-ya-uh-VORE וְאָשֵׁ֑ם and veh-ah-SHAME ז֥וּ he zoo כֹח֖וֹ shall hoh-HOH לֵאלֹהֽוֹ׃ pass lay-loh-HOH -
הֲל֧וֹא thou huh-LOH אַתָּ֣ה not ah-TA מִקֶּ֗דֶם from mee-KEH-dem יְהוָ֧ה everlasting, yeh-VA אֱלֹהַ֛י O ay-loh-HAI קְדֹשִׁ֖י Lord keh-doh-SHEE לֹ֣א my loh נָמ֑וּת God, na-MOOT יְהוָה֙ mine yeh-VA לְמִשְׁפָּ֣ט Holy leh-meesh-PAHT שַׂמְתּ֔וֹ One? sahm-TOH וְצ֖וּר we veh-TSOOR לְהוֹכִ֥יחַ shall leh-hoh-HEE-ak יְסַדְתּֽוֹ׃ not yeh-sahd-TOH -
טְה֤וֹר art teh-HORE עֵינַ֙יִם֙ of ay-NA-YEEM מֵרְא֣וֹת purer may-reh-OTE רָ֔ע eyes ra וְהַבִּ֥יט than veh-ha-BEET אֶל to el עָמָ֖ל behold ah-MAHL לֹ֣א evil, loh תוּכָ֑ל and too-HAHL לָ֤מָּה canst LA-ma תַבִּיט֙ not ta-BEET בּֽוֹגְדִ֔ים look boh-ɡeh-DEEM תַּחֲרִ֕ישׁ on ta-huh-REESH בְּבַלַּ֥ע iniquity: beh-va-LA רָשָׁ֖ע wherefore ra-SHA צַדִּ֥יק lookest tsa-DEEK מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ thou mee-MEH-noo -
וַתַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה makest va-ta-uh-SEH אָדָ֖ם men ah-DAHM כִּדְגֵ֣י as keed-ɡAY הַיָּ֑ם the ha-YAHM כְּרֶ֖מֶשׂ fishes keh-REH-mes לֹא of loh מֹשֵׁ֥ל the moh-SHALE בּֽוֹ׃ sea, boh -
כֻּלֹּה֙ take koo-LOH בְּחַכָּ֣ה up beh-ha-KA הֵֽעֲלָ֔ה all hay-uh-LA יְגֹרֵ֣הוּ of yeh-ɡoh-RAY-hoo בְחֶרְמ֔וֹ them veh-her-MOH וְיַאַסְפֵ֖הוּ with veh-ya-as-FAY-hoo בְּמִכְמַרְתּ֑וֹ the beh-meek-mahr-TOH עַל angle, al כֵּ֖ן they kane יִשְׂמַ֥ח catch yees-MAHK וְיָגִֽיל׃ them veh-ya-ɡEEL -
עַל al כֵּן֙ they kane יְזַבֵּ֣חַ sacrifice yeh-za-BAY-ak לְחֶרְמ֔וֹ unto leh-her-MOH וִֽיקַטֵּ֖ר their vee-ka-TARE לְמִכְמַרְתּ֑וֹ net, leh-meek-mahr-TOH כִּ֤י and kee בָהֵ֙מָּה֙ burn va-HAY-MA שָׁמֵ֣ן incense sha-MANE חֶלְק֔וֹ unto hel-KOH וּמַאֲכָל֖וֹ their oo-ma-uh-ha-LOH בְּרִאָֽה׃ drag; beh-ree-AH
