Genesis 45:6
ਅਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਦੋ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਰ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਿਜਾਈ ਜਾਂ ਵਾਢੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।

ਉਸ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਗਾਂ ਵਗਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਵਾਦੀ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਕਦੇ ਵਾਹੀ ਨਾ ਗਈ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਨਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਜਗ਼੍ਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਰਦਨ ਤੋੜ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

“ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ 1,000 ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਲੱਗਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ 50 ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ। “ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੁਝ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੱਲ ਚਲਵਾਏਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਢੀ ਕਰਵਾਏਗਾ। ਕੁਝ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਔਜ਼ਾਰ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਸਤਰ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੱਥ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਕੁਝ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 30:24
ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਅਤੇ ਗਧੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਭੋਜਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਖਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਲਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਹੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਂਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਪਵੇਗੀ।

ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਅਨਾਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਪਰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਸੀ! ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਅਨਾਜ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 41:56
ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਅਨਾਜ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਕੱਢਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਨਾਜ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਚਿਆ। ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸੀ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 47:18
ਪਰ ਅਗਲੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਅਨਾਜ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਲਈ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੋਕ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਕੋਲ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਪੈਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਵੀ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੁਣ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ-ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋ-ਸਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 47:23
ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਲਈ ਖਰੀਦ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬੀਜ਼ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਜਾਈ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ।
