Genesis 41:21
ਪਰ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਦਿਸਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਰੋਈਆਂ ਗਊਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਓਨੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਜਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਗ ਆ ਗਈ।

ਲੋਕ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਖੱਬੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਰੱਜਣਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪੱਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲ ਲੈ! ਇਸ ਪੱਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਪੱਤਰੀ ਖਾ ਲਈ। ਇਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਵਰਗੀ ਮਿੱਠੀ ਲਗੀ ਸੀ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਦੂਤ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਛੋਟੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੋ। ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸੂਚੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਜਾ। ਇਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਢਿੱਡ ਨੂੰ ਖੱਟਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਹਿਤ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਮਿੱਠੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।”
