ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 37:30
ਰਊਬੇਨ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੁੰਡਾ ਤਾਂ ਖੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ! ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਕਰਾਂ?”

| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| his brethren, | אֶחָ֖יו | ʾeḥāyw | eh-HAV |
| and said, | וַיֹּאמַ֑ר | wayyōʾmar | va-yoh-MAHR |
| child The | הַיֶּ֣לֶד | hayyeled | ha-YEH-led |
| is not; | אֵינֶ֔נּוּ | ʾênennû | ay-NEH-noo |
| and I, | וַֽאֲנִ֖י | waʾănî | va-uh-NEE |
| whither | אָ֥נָה | ʾānâ | AH-na |
| shall I | אֲנִי | ʾănî | uh-NEE |
| go? | בָֽא׃ | bāʾ | va |
