Genesis 29:14
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ। ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੈ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਕੋਲ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਲਈ ਠਹਿਰ ਗਿਆ।

ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 13:8
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਲੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੇਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਕੋਈ ਝਗੜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਤੇਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਝਗੜਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਤੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਭਰਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 29:12
ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਰਿਬਕਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਘਰ ਦੌੜ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 29:15
ਲਾਬਾਨ ਦਾ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਤੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਹੈਂ, ਕੋਈ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਦੇਵਾਂ?”
ਮੀਕਾਹ 7:5
ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਤੇ । ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਕੇ ਗੱਲ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ।
