ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਨਾ ਲੱਗ ਸੱਕਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਏਸਾਓ ਵਾਂਗ ਜੱਤਲ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
