ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਕੰਮੇ ਕੂੜੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹੋ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।

| dross, | לְסִגִ֑ים | lĕsigîm | leh-see-ɡEEM |
| behold, | לָכֵן֙ | lākēn | la-HANE |
| therefore | הִנְנִ֣י | hinnî | heen-NEE |
| I will gather | קֹבֵ֣ץ | qōbēṣ | koh-VAYTS |
| into you | אֶתְכֶ֔ם | ʾetkem | et-HEM |
| the midst | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| of Jerusalem. | תּ֖וֹךְ | tôk | toke |
