Ezekiel 22:18
“ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਂਸੀ, ਲੋਹਾ, ਸਿੱਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਨ ਨਿਕੰਮੇ ਹਨ। ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਚਾਂਦੀ ਪਿਘਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੂੜੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਕੌਮ ਉਸ ਨਿਕੰਮੇ ਕੂੜੇ ਵਰਗੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਚਾਂਦੀ, ਕਾਂਸੀ, ਲੋਹੇ, ਸਿੱਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਅੱਗ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਫ਼ੂਕਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਧਾਤਾਂ ਪਿਘਲਣ ਲਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਘਲਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਅੱਗ ਮੇਰਾ ਭਖਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਹੈ।
ਨੂਹ 4:1
ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤ ਦੇਖ, ਕਿਵੇਂ ਸੋਨੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਚਮਕ ਗੁਆ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਦੇਖ, ਕਿਵੇਂ ਖਰਾ ਸੋਨਾ ਬਦਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੀਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਬਿਖਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਹਰ ਗਲੀ ਦੇ ਮੋੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਿਖਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੇ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 48:4
ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਹੋ। ਲੋਹੇ ਵਾਂਗਰਾਂ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੁੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਂਬੇ ਵਾਂਗਰਾਂ ਸਖਤ ਸੀ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਝੰਡੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭਠ੍ਠੀ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।

ਲੋਕੀਂ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੱਜੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਿਜ਼ੂਲ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ।
