ਇਸ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਸਾ ਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ। ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਾਓ ਜਾਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਪਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸੋ ਕਿ ਕੌਣ-ਕੌਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ?”
