ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸੀ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਇਹ ਹਨ;

ਹੋਰ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਲਣਾ ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਗਏ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਖੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ, ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪਣ ਲਈ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਇਉਂ ਹੈ:

ਰਊਬੇਨ “ਰਊਬੇਨ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੀ ਮਰਦਾਨਗੀ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਬੂਤ। ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਜ਼ਤਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਸੀ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 35:18
ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਰਾਖੇਲ ਨੇ ਲੜਕੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਬਨ-ਓਨੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਪਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 29:31
ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੱਧਦਾ ਹੈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਲੇਆਹ ਦੀ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਲੇਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਪਰ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਏ।
ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 7:4
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਸੁਣੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੋਹਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉੱਥੇ ਮੋਹਰ ਨਾਲ 144,000 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਸਨ।

ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਸਨ: ਰਊਬੇਨ: ਜ਼ਿਕਰੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲੀਅਜ਼ਰ। ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨ: ਮਆਕਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਫ਼ਟਯਾਹ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 6:14
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਇਹ ਹਨ: ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਰਊਬੇਨ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਸਨ, ਹਨੋਕ, ਫ਼ਲੂ, ਹਸਰੋਨ, ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮੀ।
