Deuteronomy 9:4
“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਭਜਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸੋਚੋ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੰਨੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਾਂ!’ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਾਹਰ ਧੱਕਿਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੁਰੀਆਂ ਸਨ-ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਸੀ।

ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 12:31
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਨਾਲ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਓਸੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ! ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਾੜਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਤੀਤੁਸ 3:3
ਬੀਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਮੂਰਖ ਸਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਆਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਸਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਗਲਤ ਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਸਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਨਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਅਸੀਂ ਬਦੀ ਭਰਿਆ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀ ਰਹੇ ਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਈਰਖਾਲੂ ਸਾਂ। ਲੋਕ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਾਂ।
੨ ਤਿਮੋਥਿਉਸ 1:9
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਲੋਕ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਬਲਕਿ ਇਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਰਾਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਢੋਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਅਫ਼ਸੀਆਂ 2:4
ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇੰਨਾ ਕਿਰਪਾਲੂ ਹੈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਣ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਖਾਇਆ।
੧ ਕੁਰਿੰਥੀਆਂ 4:7
ਕੌਣ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੋ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੇਕਰ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਵੇਂ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
੧ ਕੁਰਿੰਥੀਆਂ 4:4
ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੁਰਾ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਸਿੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੀ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰੱਖ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 11:20
ਇਹ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਪਰਤੀਤੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਤੋੜਿਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ, ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਰੁੱਖ ਤੇ ਅਪਣੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਾਰਣ ਠਹਿਰਿਆ ਹੈਂ। ਘਮੰਡ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਗੋਂ ਡਰ ਕੇ ਰਹਿ।
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 11:6
ਜੇਕਰ ਪਰੇਮਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਚੁਣੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਨਾ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਕਾਰਣ। ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਧਰਮੀ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਦਾ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਨਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ।

ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ: ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਭਲੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ! ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਨੇਕ ਨਾਮੀ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ! ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਢੰਗ ਬਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ!”

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਤੂੰ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਗਿਆ, ਮੇਰਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ! ਮੈਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਖਾਤਰ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 18:9
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ “ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਸਿਖਣਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 9:5
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਠੀਕ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਧੱਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਦੀ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਵਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ-ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 7:7
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੁਣਿਆ? ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੰਨੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਕੌਮ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ!
ਅਹਬਾਰ 18:24
“ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਲੀਤ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਮੈਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 15:16
ਚਾਰ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਬਾਦ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਮੋਰੀ ਲੋਕ ਹਾਲੇ ਇਨੇ ਪਾਪੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਭਾਗੀ ਹੋਣ।”
