ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਚੱਟਾਨਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ, ਸਖਤ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਤੇਲ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ-ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਕੀਤਾ।
