Deuteronomy 26:12
“ਹਰ ਤੀਸਰਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਦਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ, ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ, ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਤੀਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਭੋਜਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

“ਹਰ ਤੀਸਰਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਦਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ, ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ, ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਤੀਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਭੋਜਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
