ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ “ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਨਰ ਖਾਸ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਅਲੱਗ ਕਰ ਲੈਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਜਨਮੇ ਬਲਦ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਨਾ ਲਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਪਲੋਠੀ ਜਨਮੀ ਭੇਡ ਦੀ ਉੱਨ ਨਾ ਲਾਹੋ।

ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਇਸ ਪਰੀਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰੋ। ਆਪਣਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰੋ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਵੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਭਵਨ ਲਈ ਭੋਜਨ ਲਿਆਓ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਜ਼ਮਾਅ ਲਵੋ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਰਸਤੇ ਤੇ ਚੱਲੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਬਰਕਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਵਰਦੇ ਮੀਂਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਉਣਗੀਆਂ। ਹਰ ਵਸਤੂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਲੋੜ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।

“ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਚੋ ਠੱਗਣਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਚੋ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੁਰਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਠੱਗੀ ਕੀਤੀ। “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਭਲਾ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਕੀ ਚੁਰਾਇਆ ਹੈ?’ “ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਖਾਸ ਤੋਹਫ਼ੇ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਵੱਲ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ-ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਵੱਲ-ਮੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਹੀ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਲਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਆ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਉਸੇ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੁਗ਼ਾਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਓਸੇ ਥਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 26:2
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਉੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਕਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰ ਲਵੋ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੋ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਦਸਵੰਧ ਦੇਣਾ “ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਗਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਕੱਢਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਗਿਣਤੀ 18:15
“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿਸੇ ਔਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

“ਵੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਦਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ, ਅਯਾਲੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
