ਮੂਸਾ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ “ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ‘ਮੈਂ ਖੁਦ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਦੇਖ-ਭਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਿਆ ਸਾਂ।

ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਹ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਕਿਉਂ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ? ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਕਸੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ? ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬੇਚੈਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਿਹੜੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਹੈ?

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਹੇਠਾ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਆਤਮਾ ਹੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਆਤਮੇ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਭਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਭਾਲ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੁੱਕਣੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ।
