ਫ਼ੇਰ ਫ਼ਿਲਿਪੁੱਸ ਰੱਥ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਨੱਸਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਨਬੀ ਦੀ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਪੜ੍ਹਦਿਆਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਫ਼ਿਲਿਪੁੱਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਕੀ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਰਿਹਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਵੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ?”
