“ਅਸੀਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੈਰ-ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਿ ਨਿਹਚਾਵਾਨ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ; ‘ਉਹ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਾ ਖਾਓ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਲਹੂ ਨਾ ਖਾਓ, ਗਲ ਘੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਨਾ ਖਾਓ। ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਪਾਪ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ।’”
