ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਉਹ ਕੈਸਰਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੁਰਨੇਲਿਯੁਸ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਦੇਕੇ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
