Proverbs 6:34
ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਈਰਖਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਬਦਲਾ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਕੋਈ ਤਰਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

ਪਰ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਤੀ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਈਰਖਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇ। ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਉਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਚੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

“ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੈ-ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਿਣ। ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਫ਼ੀਨਹਾਸ, ਜਾਜਕ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਪੋਤਰੇ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
ਕਜ਼ਾૃ 19:29
ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਘਰ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਛੁਰੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਾਸੀ ਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਦੇ 12 ਟੋਟੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ 12 ਟੋਟਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਲੋਕ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਕੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਈਰਖਾਲੂ ਬਨਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਕੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹਾਂ? ਨਹੀਂ।
