Proverbs 6:30
ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਭੁੱਖਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਢਿੱਡ ਭਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰੇ, ਲੋਕੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਰੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਲ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਗੁਣਾ ਵੱਧ ਜ਼ੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਭਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚਲਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਗਵਾਉਣਾ ਪਵੇ!

ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਭੁੱਖਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਢਿੱਡ ਭਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰੇ, ਲੋਕੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਰੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਲ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਗੁਣਾ ਵੱਧ ਜ਼ੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਭਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚਲਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਗਵਾਉਣਾ ਪਵੇ!
