ਫਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾਯੋਗ ਹੈ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ (ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ) ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਹਨ, ਭੇਜ ਦੇਵੋ। ਮੈਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਰਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਤੋਂ ਬਨਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।”

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ, ਜੇਕਰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਠੀਕ ਸਮਝਣ ਤਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਦਫਤਰੀ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਬਾਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਕੋਰਸ਼ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ਜਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ। ਫਿਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਮਾਨ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੀ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ
ਰੁੱਤ 2:13
ਤਾਂ ਰੂਥ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਾਨ ਜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਹੋ। ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਨੌਕਰ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੌਕਰ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਹਰ ਭਰੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਆਖੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।”

ਤਦ ਯੋਆਬ ਨੇ ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਸਹਿਤ ਮੂੰਹ ਪਰਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਝੁਕ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕ ਕੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਧੰਨ ਕਿਹਾ। ਤਾਂ ਯੋਆਬ ਬੋਲਿਆ, “ਅੱਜ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਜੋ ਅਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਪਰਵਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।”

“ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੇਕਰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੁਝਾਵ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਫਾਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਦਾ ਦੇ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਜੋ ਬਦਲਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਐਲਾਨ ਇਹ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਰਾਣੀ ਵਸ਼ਤੀ ਹੁਣ ਕਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਸ਼ਵੇਰੋਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਇਹ ਪਦਵੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇ।
ਆ ਸਤਰ 5:8
ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਵਾਨ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਮਂਗਾ ਉਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਮਾਨ ਕੱਲ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਉਣ। ਕੱਲ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਦਾਅਵਤ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਮਾਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਵੀ ਪਰਗਟ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ।”
ਆ ਸਤਰ 7:3
ਰਾਣੀ ਅਸਤਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ, ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰੇ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਣ ਦੇਵੀਂ। ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ। ਬਸ ਇਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਫਰਿਆਦ ਹੈ।
ਆ ਸਤਰ 8:5
ਫੇਰ ਅਸਤਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ, ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ ਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੈਂ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਅਗਾਰੀ ਹਮਦਾਬਾ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਾਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਣ ਦਾ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੂੰ ਮਿਹਰ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਪਰਤਿਸ਼ਠਾ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾ੍ਹਮਣੇ ਕਮਾਵੇਂਗਾ।
