John 20:25
ਦੂਜੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਥੋਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।” ਥੋਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਯਕੀਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਤੇ ਛੇਦ ਨਾ ਵੇਖਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਂਗਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕੇ ਨਾ ਵੇਖ ਲਵਾਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੇਖਾਂ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਉਸਦੀ ਵੱਖੀ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਰੱਖ ਲਵਾਂ।”
