Isaiah 36:1
ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਰਾਜੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਚੌਦ੍ਹਵੇਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਨਹੇਰੀਬ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ। ਸਨਹੇਰੀਬ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਕਰਨਾ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕੀਤੇ, ਤਾਂ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸਨਹੇਰੀਬ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸਨਹੇਰੀਬ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਡੇਰੇ ਲਾ ਲਏ। ਇਹ ਵਿਉਂਤ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਈ। ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਜਿੱਤਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ 14ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸਨਹੇਰੀਬ ਨੇ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਉੱਪਰ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ।

ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਣਾ ਤਦ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਖਾਸ ਕਮਾਂਡਰਾਂ ਤਰਤਾਨ, ਰਬਸਾਰੀਸ ਅਤੇ ਰਬਸ਼ਾਕੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਗਏ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਤਲਾਬ ਦੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਟੈਂਕੀ ਕੋਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਜੋ ਕਿ ਧੋਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 1:7
“ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਾੜੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।”
ਯਸਈਆਹ 7:17
“ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਰਗੀਆ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ । ਉਹ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੈਣਗੀਆਂ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 8:7
ਪਰ ਮੈਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਵਰਤਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ਰਾਤ ਨਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 10:28
ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਫ਼ੌਜ (ਅਯ੍ਯਾਬ) ਖੰਡਰਾਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਫ਼ੌਜ “ਸੁਹਾਗੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ” (ਮਿਗਰੌਨ) ਉੱਤੇ ਕਦਮ ਵੱਧਾਵੇਗੀ। ਫ਼ੌਜ “ਮੋਦੀ ਖਾਨੇ” ਮਿਕਮਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਰੱਖੇਗੀ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 33:7
ਪਰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣ! ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਚੀਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਅਮਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ, ਜ਼ੋਰ-ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੀ ਰੋ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ।
