ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਯਰਦਨੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਾਜ਼ੇਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਲਾਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਡੇਰਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਗਾਦ ਵਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਮੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਯਾਜ਼ੇਰ ਵੱਲ ਸੀ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਅਰਨੋਨ ਵਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਅਰੋਏਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਨੋਨ ਵਾਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰਲੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇ ਹੋਈਏ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 13:16
ਇਹ ਅਰਨੋਨ ਘਾਟੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਅਰੋਏਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੇਦਬਾ ਦੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਾਟੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਧ ਵਿੱਚਾਲੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਸਬਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਸੀ।

ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਰਊਬੇਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਦ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗਾਵਾਂ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਾਜ਼ੇਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਚੰਗੀ ਸੀ।

ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਜ਼ੇਰ ਦਾ ਨਗਰ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਗਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਮੋਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 17:2
ਲੋਕ ਅਰੋਏਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਵਾਰਾ ਘੁੰਮਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 16:8
ਲੋਕ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਹਸ਼ਬੋਨ ਦੇ ਖੇਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਬਮਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਵੇਲਾਂ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਉਗਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਵੇਲਾਂ ਕੱਟ ਸੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੌਜਾਂ ਯਾਜ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਰ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਤੱਕ ਫ਼ੈਲ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੱਕ ਫ਼ੈਲ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਅਰੋਏਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਕੁਝ ਸਮਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜੋ ਸਿਫ਼ਮੋਥ, ਇਸ਼ਤਿਮੋਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ।
