ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਭਲਾ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾਲੂ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ? ਭਲਾ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ?”
