ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰੋ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੋਰੇਬ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, ‘ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰੋ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਨ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਮੇਰੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਾਉਣਾਗੇ।’
