2 Kings 6:23
ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਲਈ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਖਾਧਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਤਾ। ਫੇਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹ ਜਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੈਨਾ ਅਰਾਮ ’ਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਪਰਤ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਏ।

ਅਰਾਮੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਟੋਲੇ ਭੇਜੇ। ਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ। ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨਿੱਕੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਕੁੜੀ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਿਆਏ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਨਅਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਵਹੁਟੀ ਦੀ ਗੋਲੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੋਲੇ, ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ, ਮੋਆਬ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮੋਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੱਥੇ ਭੇਜੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹੋਇਆ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ, ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਅਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਸਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਅਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਭਾ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਲੁਕ ਜਾਵੋ! ਜਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਣ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ।”

ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਰੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗਾ, “ਹਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਗਲਤ। ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਲਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੁਰਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

ਤਦ ਆਗੂਆਂ (ਅਜ਼ਰਯਾਹ, ਬਰਕਯਾਹ, ਯਾਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਾਸਾ) ਨੇ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਾਰਾਂ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਲਿਆਏ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੰਗੇ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਰੀ ਪਾਣ ਲਈ ਜੁੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਰੋਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਣ ਲਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੋ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਤੇਲ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਤਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਕੇ ਖਜ਼ੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਿਰਛਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਹ ਚਾਰੋ ਆਗੂ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਗਏ।
ਅਮਸਾਲ 25:21
ਜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਭੁੱਖਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਟੀ ਦਿਓ। ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਪਿਆਸਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਣ ਲਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਿਓ।

ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਚੰਗਾ ਵਰਤਾਓ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ। ਕੀ ਕੁਧਰਮੀ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ?
ਲੋਕਾ 6:35
“ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ, ਮੁੜ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ, ਉਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਫ਼ਲ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪਾਪੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਸ਼ੁਕਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਦਯਾਵਾਨ ਹੈ।
ਲੋਕਾ 10:29
ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹੀ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ?”
