ਦਾਊਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਰਯਥ-ਯਆਰੀਮ ਤੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਤੰਬੂ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ।
