“ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਸਰਾ ਦਾ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਹਸੋਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਦਾ ਸੀਸਰਾ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਹ ਸਭ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜੇ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮੋਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਣ।
ਕਜ਼ਾૃ 4:2
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਾਬੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਯਾਬੀਨ ਹਸੋਰ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਸੀਸਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਾਬੀਨ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦਾ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਸੀ। ਸੀਸਰਾ ਹਰੋਸ਼ਥ ਹਾਗੋਯਿਮ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
ਕਜ਼ਾૃ 3:12
ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਏਹੂਦ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਗਲੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 32:18
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਤੁਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ; ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਤੁਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ।

ਯਸਈਆਹ 63:10
ਪਰ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜਿਆ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 50:1
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੁਨਾਹ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਤਾ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਪਰਚਾ ਕਿੱਥੋ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ? ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਿਓ, ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਸੀ? ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ? ਨਹੀਂ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੇਚੇ ਗਏ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਤਾ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਦੂਰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ।
ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 106:21
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ।

ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ, ਸ਼ਮਗਰ ਏਹੂਦ ਦੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ, ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸ਼ਮਗਰ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਅਨਾਥ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਮਗਰ ਨੇ 600 ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਲਿਆ।
ਕਜ਼ਾૃ 3:7
ਪਹਿਲਾ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ, ਅਥਨੀਏਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਬਦੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਬਆਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ੇਰਾਹ ਵਰਗੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ।
ਕਜ਼ਾૃ 2:14
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਨਾ ਬਚਾ ਸੱਕੇ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 32:30
ਕੀ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਬੰਦਾ 1,000 ਬੰਦਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਕੀ ਦੋ ਬੰਦੇ 10,000 ਬੰਦਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ? ਇਹ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਇਹ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ ਜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ (ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਮਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਵੇਚ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ!
