ਹਾਕਮ ਲਈ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਦੇ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਹਾਕਮ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਸੁਗਾਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਲਕੀਅਤ ਹੈ।
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 13:1
ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਉੱਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਕੋਈ, ਜੋ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹੁਣ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਦਵੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਉਂ ਸੱਕੀਏ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ, ਖਾਮੋਸ਼, ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
ਤੀਤੁਸ 3:1
ਜਿਉਣ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਢੰਗ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣ; ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਧੀਨ ਰਹਿਣ; ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ।

ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਵੀ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਖਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਿਰ ਕਰੋ। ਉਸ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਮੰਨੋ ਜਿਸ ਕੋਲ ਹਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
