ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਮੇਖਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਾ ਲੋਹਾ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੋਲੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਕਾਂਸੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸੋਨੇ, ਚਾਂਦੀ, ਪਿੱਤਲ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਆਦਿ ਦੀ ਕਾਰੀਗਰੀ ’ਚ ਬੜੇ ਨਿਪੁਣ ਹਨ। ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਤਾਂ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਬੇਹਿਸਾਬ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਕਾਰਜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਹੋਵੇ।”

ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਇੰਨੀ ਤਾਦਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਬਣਵਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਸ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਸੱਕਦਾ।
