ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹੀਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਕਾਂਸੇ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੋਲ ਹੌਦ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜੋ “ਸਾਗਰ” ਕਹਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਹੌਦ ਘੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ 30 ਹੱਥ, ਵਿਆਸ ਵਿੱਚ 10 ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ 5 ਹੱਥ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਸੀ।

ਹੌਦ ਕਾਂਸੇ ਦੇ 12 ਬਲਦਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਬਲਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲ, ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ, ਤਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਪੱਛਮ ਵੱਲ ਸਨ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੱਕ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
