ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਦੀ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਮ ਵਿਖੇ ਇਕੱਤ੍ਰਤਾ ਬੁਲਾਈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਆਗੁਆਂ, ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ, ਜੱਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੱਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਖਲੋ ਗਏ।

ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਉਣਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
੧ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ 28:1
ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਮੰਦਰ ਲਈ ਵਿਉਂਤ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ, ਸੈਨਾ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਮਾਂਡਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ, ਮੁਖੀਆਂ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਪੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਰੇਖ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ, ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ।
