ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਭੂਤਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਸਲਾਹ ਲਈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਯਿੱਸੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
