ਅਲਕਾਨਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਬੀਵੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਇੱਕ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੰਨਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪਨਿੰਨਾਹ ਸੀ। ਪਨਿੰਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਉਲਾਦ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਹੰਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।

ਪਰ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਲੀਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਔਲਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਇਲੀਸਬਤ ਬਾਂਝ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਉਸਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਖਤ ਦਿਲੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪਰ ਮੁਢੋਂ ਇਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੀਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
ਕਜ਼ਾૃ 13:2
ਉੱਥੇ ਸਾਰਾਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ। ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਤਨੀ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਔਲਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
ਕਜ਼ਾૃ 8:30
ਗਿਦਾਊਨ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ 70 ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਇੰਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 21:15
ਵੱਡਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ “ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜੀ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਦੋਹਾਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬੱਚੇ ਵੀ ਹੋਣ। ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬੱਚਾ ਉਸ ਪਤਨੀ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 29:31
ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੱਧਦਾ ਹੈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਲੇਆਹ ਦੀ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਲੇਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਪਰ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਏ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 29:23
ਉਸ ਰਾਤ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਧੀ ਲੇਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਆਹ ਨੇ ਸੰਭੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 25:21
ਇਸਹਾਕ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਬਾਂਝ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਨਾਲ ਰਿਬਕਾਹ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 16:1
ਦਾਸੀ ਹਾਜਰਾ ਸਾਰਈ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਉਲਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ। ਸਾਰਈ ਦੀ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਦਾਸੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹਾਜਰਾ ਸੀ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 4:23
ਲਾਮਕ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ: “ਆਦਾਹ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੱਲਾਹ, ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੋ! ਲਾਮਕ ਦੀਓ ਪਤਨੀਓ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੋ! ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਜਵਾਨ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੁਟਿਆ।

ਆੱਨਾ ਦਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣਾ ਆੱਨਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਨਬੀਆ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਫ਼ਨੂਏਲ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਬੜੀ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਵਿਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਨਾਲ 7 ਸਾਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 4:19
ਲਾਮਕ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਤਨੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਸਰੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜ਼ਿੱਲਾਹ ਸੀ।
