Numbers 4:21-28 in Punjabi

21 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

22 Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;

23 From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

24 This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:

25 And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,

26 And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.

27 At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.

28 This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

21 ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ,
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

22 “ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਬਣਾ।
Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;

23 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ 30 ਤੋਂ 50 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

24 “ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨੀਆ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:

25 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੰਬੂ, ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ, ਇਸਦੇ ਕੱਜਣ ਅਤੇ ਨਰਮ ਚਮੜੇ ਦੇ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੱਜਣ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਚੁੱਕਣ।

26 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੰਬੂ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਦੇ ਪਰਦਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਦਿਆ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆ ਸਾਰੀਆ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਸਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਉਸ ਹਰ ਗੱਲ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

27 ਹਾਰੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਇਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਰੇਖ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਹਰ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨੀਆ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਕੰਮ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਹਾਰੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹਨ।

28 ਇਹ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਲਈ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਜਾਜਕ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਈਥਾਮਾਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੇਤ੍ਰਤਵ ਕਰੇਗਾ।”
This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
