‘ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ, ਜੋ 20 ਸਾਲ ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਡੇਰੇ ਹਨ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਮੈਂ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣੇ।

Numbers 14:24
ਪਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਕਾਲੇਬ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਅਨੁਯਾਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਦੇਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਗੇ।

Joshua 14:8
ਹੋਰਨਾ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਸੱਚ ਮੁੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
