ਹਰੇਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਈ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਸੀ। ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਨ: ਲਿਬਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਮਈ।
