ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਭੈੜੀ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ। ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਨਾਜ ਨਹੀਂ। ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਜੀਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਜਾਂ ਅਨਾਰ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਪੀਣ ਲਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ।”

ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਕ ਪਬਰੀਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਹਨੇਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਖਤਰਨਾਕ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਲੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ। ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕਿੱਥੋ ਹੈ?’”
