Numbers 14:23
ਉਹ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

Numbers 14:2
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬੋਲਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ, “ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਇਸ ਨਵੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੋਣੀ ਸੀ।
Numbers 26:64
ਬਹੁਤ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਸੀਨਈ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਮਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਹੁਣ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
