Matthew 13 - ASV (Punjabi)

1 On that day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਉਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਯਿਸੂ ਘਰੋ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਜਾ ਬੈਠਾ।

2 And there were gathered unto him great multitudes, so that he entered into a boat, and sat; and all the multitude stood on the beach.ਜਦੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਭੀੜ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੇੜੀ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਕੰਢੇ ਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਸਨ।

3 And he spake to them many things in parables, saying, Behold, the sower went forth to sow;ਫ਼ਿਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸਮਝਾਈਆਂ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਵੇਖੋ ਇੱਕ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਪਣਾ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਣ ਲਈ ਬਾਹਰ ਗਿਆ।

4 and as he sowed, some `seeds' fell by the way side, and the birds came and devoured them:ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਬੀਜ, ਬੀਜ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੜਕ ਵੱਲ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ, ਪੰਛੀ ਆਏ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੀਜ ਚੁਗ ਗਏ।

5 and others fell upon the rocky places, where they had not much earth: and straightway they sprang up, because they had no deepness of earth:ਕੁਝ ਬੀਜ ਪੱਥਰੀਲੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਖਾਦ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੀ। ਉੱਥੇ ਬੀਜ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਲਦੀ ਉੱਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।

6 and when the sun was risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਚੜ੍ਹ੍ਹਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਬੂਟੇ ਸੜ ਗਏ, ਉਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਰੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਡੂੰਘੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।

7 And others fell upon the thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked them:ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਬੀਜ ਕੰਡਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ, ਕੰਡਿਆਲੀਆਂ ਝਾੜੀਆਂ ਵੱਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾ ਲਿਆ।

8 and others fell upon the good ground, and yielded fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.ਕੁਝ ਬੀਜ ਚੰਗੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ। ਉਹ ਪੌਦੇ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਅਨਾਜ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕੁਝ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੌ ਗੁਣਾ ਵੱਧ ਅਨਾਜ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ, ਕੁਝ ਤੋਂ ਸੱਠ ਗੁਣਾ ਵੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਤੋਂ ਤੀਹ ਗੁਣਾ ਵੱਧ ਅਨਾਜ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ।

9 He that hath ears, let him hear.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੋ, ਸੁਣੋ।”

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?ਯਿਸੂ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਕਿਉਂ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਕੋਲ ਆਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਕਿਉਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ?”

11 And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਸਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਭੇਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath.ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਧ ਦਿਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਜਿਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਥੋੜਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਵੇ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਨ।

14 And unto them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ: ‘ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਰਹੋਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਸਮਝੋਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਰਹੋਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਦੇਖੋਂਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ।

15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਸਖਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਨ ਬੋਲੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਸੱਕਣ। ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਉਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰਾਂ।’

16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਧੰਨ ਹਨ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ।

17 For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵੇਖਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਵੇਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੀਆਂ। ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਨਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੀਆਂ।

18 Hear then ye the parable of the sower.ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਬੀਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ “ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬੀਜਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਸੁਣੋ।

19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, `then' cometh the evil `one', and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side.“ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਰਾਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਤਾਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਪੁੱਟ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਇਹ ਉਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੇ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

20 And he that was sown upon the rocky places, this is he that heareth the word, and straightway with joy receiveth it;“ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੀਜ਼ ਪੱਥਰੀਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਝੱਟ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

21 yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while; and when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightway he stumbleth.ਪਰ ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੂੰਘਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਦਾ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਥੋੜਾ ਚਿਰ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਜਾਂ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਝੱਟ ਆਪਣਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

22 And he that was sown among the thorns, this is he that heareth the word; and the care of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.“ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੀਜ ਕੰਡਿਆਲੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਧਨ ਦਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਜਾਲ ਉਸ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵੱਧਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਘਨ ਪਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

23 And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.“ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੀਜ ਉਪਜਾਊ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੇ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਚੰਗਾ ਫ਼ਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਸੌ ਗੁਣਾ, ਕੋਈ ਸੱਠ ਗੁਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਤੀਹ ਗੁਣਾ ਫ਼ਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।”

24 Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man that sowed good seed in his field:ਕਣਕ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦੇਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗਾ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਿਆ।

25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares also among the wheat, and went away.ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੁੱਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਉਸਦਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਕਣਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਬੀਜਕੇ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

26 But when the blade sprang up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.ਕਣਕ ਵੱਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਣਕ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਵੀ ਵੱਧੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਵੀ ਵੱਧੀ।

27 And the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it tares?ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮਾਲਕ ਦੇ ਨੋਕਰ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਾਨ ਜੀ, ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗੇ ਬੀਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੀਜੇ? ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਆਈ?’

28 And he said unto them, An enemy hath done this. And the servants say unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?“ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ‘ਕਿਸੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।’ “ਨੋਕਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ‘ਕੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ?’

29 But he saith, Nay; lest haply while ye gather up the tares, ye root up the wheat with them.“ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ‘ਨਹੀਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਟੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਣਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਟ ਸੁੱਟੋਂ।

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਾਢੀ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਲੇ-ਮਿਲੇ ਵੱਧਣ ਦਿਓ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਢੀ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ, ਮੈਂ ਕਾਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ, ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੂਕਣ ਲਈ ਉਸਦਾ ਪੂਲਾ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੋ। ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਣਕ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਠੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰੋ।’”

31 Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦੇਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਸਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਇੱਕ ਸਰ੍ਹੋਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਣੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

32 which indeed is less than all seeds; but when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the heaven come and lodge in the branches thereof.ਇਹ ਸਭ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਬੀਜ ਉੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਬਾਗ ਦੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਰੁੱਖ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਛੀ ਆਕੇ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲ੍ਹਣੇ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।”

33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till it was all leavened.ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ, “ਸਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਖਮੀਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਦਸ ਕਿੱਲੋ ਆਟੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਖਮੀਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਫ਼ਾਨ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।”

34 All these things spake Jesus in parables unto the multitudes; and without a parable spake he nothing unto them:ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ।

35 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.ਇਹ ਉਵੇਂ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਚਨ ਨਬੀ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ: “ਮੈਂ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਖੋਲਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਚਾਰਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਕਿ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਢ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।”

36 Then he left the multitudes, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Explain unto us the parable of the tares of the field.ਯਿਸੂ ਕਣਕ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਘਰ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਾਨੂੰ ਖੇਤ ਦੀ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਦੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੱਸ।”

37 And he answered and said, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਜਿਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਚੰਗਾ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈ।

38 and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil `one';ਖੇਤ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਬੀਜ, ਹਕੂਮਤ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀਆਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨ।

39 and the enemy that sowed them is the devil: and the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are angels.ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਵੈਰੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਉਹ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਹੈ। ਵਾਢੀ ਦਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਜੁਗ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਢਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਹਨ।

40 As therefore the tares are gathered up and burned with fire; so shall it be in the end of the world.“ਸੋ ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੂਕੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਜੁਗ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and them that do iniquity,ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਭੈੜੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੁਕਰਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਘੱਲੇਗਾ।

42 and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਭਠੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਰੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੰਦ ਪੀਸਣਗੇ।

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear.ਤਦ ਧਰਮੀ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਰਜ ਵਾਂਗ ਚਮਕਣਗੇ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੁਣ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਸੁਨਣ।

44 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a treasure hidden in the field; which a man found, and hid; and in his joy he goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.ਖਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ “ਸਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਉਸ ਖਜਾਨੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਦੱਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਖੇਤ ਨੂੰ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਸੀ।

45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a merchant seeking goodly pearls:“ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਉਸ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਚੰਗੇ ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।

46 and having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it.ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮੋਤੀ ਭਾਰੇ ਦਾਮ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜਾਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਵੇਚ-ਵੱਟਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਮੋਤੀ ਮੁੱਲ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ।

47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:ਮੱਛੀ ਦੇ ਜਾਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ “ਸਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਲ ਵਰਗਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਝੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਜਾਲ ਨੇ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੜੀਆਂ।

48 which, when it was filled, they drew up on the beach; and they sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but the bad they cast away.ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮਛੇਰੇ ਜਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਢੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਖਿੱਚਕੇ ਲੈ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਲਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਜ਼ੂਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੇ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

49 So shall it be in the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the righteous,ਸੋ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਦੂਤ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਲੱਗ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ।

50 and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਭਠੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਉਸ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੰਦ ਪੀਸਣੇ ਪੈਣਗੇ।”

51 Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea.ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹੋ?” ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਹਾਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਾਂ।”

52 And he said unto them, Therefore every scribe who hath been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, who bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਦਾ ਹੈ।”

53 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵੱਲ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਤੁਰ ਪਿਆ।

54 And coming into his own country he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?ਯਿਸੂ ਉਸ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਉਸਨੇ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ?

55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joseph, and Simon, and Judas?ਭਲਾ ਇਹ ਤਰੱਖਾਣ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਹਾਉਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਭਾਈ ਯਾਕੂਬ, ਯੂਸੁਫ਼, ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ?

56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਭਲਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ? ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ?”

57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and in his own house.ਇੰਝ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕਿਸੇ ਨਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ। ਬਾਕੀ ਲੋਕ ਉਸਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।”

58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.ਉੱਥੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ।
